Montu is Australia's largest medical cannabis company. They needed to create a new brand as there was an opportunity to grow the existing patient base by capturing thousands of e-script holders across the category who had no consistent way to get their medication delivered. I led the design of the brand's visual identity.

The Brief:

The brand was built around three core values: reliable, fast and secure. The strategic goal: be the most reliable way to order alternative medications. The look and feel needed to be human, empathetic and supportive. A brand that puts patients first.

The Solution:

The wordmark went through several rounds of iteration, the smiley-face 'u' was chosen for its warmth, then refined into a wink to add personality and confidence. 

The wink was extended into a graphic device giving the brand a recognisable signature.

A dark teal palette was chosen to convey trust and reliability, with orange introduced as an accent for warmth.

The photography was based across three pillars: packaging with the box as the hero, hands receiving the package to show reliability, and at home lifestyle to show ease of service.

The outcome:

I delivered the complete identity including finished logo, brand guidelines, website, social and edm templates and performance ads. The brand launched in 2025 and now services 210K+ patients and has delivered over 2.2m+ orders.
